when I went to see the new Batman movie there was a 4 year old sitting in the row in front of me, next to Arthur. I made a stink about how he shouldn't be there. Most other people said that it was his dad's prerogative to take him and that they'd seen just as scary movies when they were little. I grumpily shut up

I think the kid will turn out okay. Part of being little is watching scary movies and he'll be able to brag to his friends about seeing it so young.
