oh, wow, this all sounds utterly amazing.

(and i know this is by far not the main point, but speaking of Tacky the Penguin, when I was working at a library this summer i found a sequel to Tacky the Penguin called Three Cheers for Tacky! about how Tacky tried out for the cheerleading squad and won a competition by virtue of his unconventional cheering techniques. Oh that is soo marvelous! I think I've seen the cover of that book but never read it. I read one by the same author about a porkypine named fluffy though, and it was lovely! I dont' think anything will ever match the original Tacky though. I think next time we're together we need to make ourselves some matching Tacky clothing!
I hope to be with you when you get to see the badlands. Which I know you will see someday my dear ALLGWW (is that all of them? Anna Laura Loftin Gregory Wilson Winnebago?) because you are a person who the natural world can resonate with and you can share that with other people. I was so moved multiple times when I was there, words cant describe it.
