what would you recommend for people who get bad knee/ankle pain from running, other than good shoes? I used to try running and I started getting alternating numbness and shooting pains in my legs, so I stopped. I was using cheap running shoes, but I've heard of people who have that issue with good shoes because they "can't run on concrete".
Sorry about the delay in replying. One of my co-workers described the same pain you did. She was wearing street wear Puma's, which were basically regular sneakers. She just purchased a new pair of Asics, and I will ask her if she feels any difference
