V for Veronica.

I've been working up the various reasons that M. and I settled on Veronica as a first name for our daughter. My first criteria when brain-storming names was that I didn't want a name possessed by any living member of our family. What kind of name is Campbell? It's a soup, for crying out loud!

And I had way too many Mackenzies in class to ever want one.

Veronica works well for me. I've only known a few Veronicas in my life, but they're all cool.

I think Veronica is a lovely name and am glad you two chose it. I work at a children's toy store where we are encouraged (required) to use the childrens' names all day, and I cannot begin to describe the atrocities I've seen. Veronica is a breath of fresh air amidst the Madisons and Adysens and the Mac sisters (Mackenzie, Makayla, and McKenna). I think Ronni is a darling nickname as well, though I prefer the French "Vero" better (not that you'd be able to get Americans to pronounce it). Overall I give you a two thumbs way up on a beautiful name and an even more beautiful daughter!
