Excellent evening. Much housework done (all to the good) and an *astonishing* movie watched. A History of Violence. I can say without hesitation that this is the best film that I've seen in over a year. It embraces ideas that I am, admittedly, somewhat obsessed with. Double meanings...double entendre's...double lives. For the courageous

When we visited in January, you mentioned a produce service in which you magically receive boxes of fresh vegetables in the dead of night. A Chicago friend of mine in interested in such a service. Who should I tell her to contact?

I'd thought about renting AHOV once it came out on DVD; thanks for the reminder! :) I don't get to Blockbuster much at all anymore, but will probably look for it the next time I go.

It is a wonderful film, but a dark journey. If you check it out, stick with it. It is deep and rewarding!
