A double life.

Excellent evening. Much housework done (all to the good) and an *astonishing* movie watched. A History of Violence. I can say without hesitation that this is the best film that I've seen in over a year. It embraces ideas that I am, admittedly, somewhat obsessed with. When we visited in January, you mentioned a produce service in which you magically receive boxes of fresh vegetables in the dead of night. A Chicago friend of mine in interested in such a service. Who should I tell her to contact?

I'd thought about renting AHOV once it came out on DVD; thanks for the reminder! :) I don't get to Blockbuster much at all anymore, but will probably look for it the next time I go.

It is a wonderful film, but a dark journey. If you check it out, stick with it. It is deep and rewarding!

oh come on... trousers makes them sound boring.

did you know the magazine PC accelerator (RIP) listed pants as one of the funniest words in the english language? right up there with 'hamster' :P
