Working Taste of Chaos later, by far the poorest line up in the festivals short three year tenure. If I wasn't working I wouldn't have even bothered to get a ticket

Agreed on both counts. As you know, I've always gone to TOC but I am actually ducking out this year for two reasons: firstly, Kill Hannah are playing and I adore them, and secondly, the line up is terrible. I don't even remotely like one band on it.
New AAR song doesn't grab me at all either. Yeesh.
Yeah, it turned out slightly better than I thought, but it was the lesser known bands who really lit up the stage. Horse the Band and As I Lay Dying were fantastic, and I had never listened to them before the show. Story of the Year and Atreyu were rubbish, though, but then I've never really been a big fan of either hah.
Yeah, I think AAR have toned the guitars right down and replaced them with something that creates music for Tetris lol. I couldn't believe it was them, I'm all for progression, but they've done 'slow' songs far better previously. In saying that the first single is often completely different to everything else on the album, hopefully this is the same =).x
