Just got an email from my Women and the Law professor... I told her that I was interested in going to law school, and she's offered to set up an appointment to meet, and possibly set up an "interaction" with the Rural Law Center where she works in NYC... aka internship?

I'm just a little bit ecstatic.

I know I sound like a nerd, but they're completely addicting.  This semester I'm especially excited for because I can already tell that it's going to be 100% better than last.  I think it's because I know I'm not going to be in Plattsburgh next semester, so I feel like I can appreciate it that much more.  My schedule is also not as stressful as ( Read more... )

Although it's not as exciting as California, I'm really happy to be back in the Platts.  RA re-training is going well, and I'm really psyched for the semester to start.... Oh I've been neglecting my LJ... so here's a half-ass update:

My birthday = fabulous and involving a lot of champagne.  Being 21 is so convenient.

Christmas = nicer than I thought it would be, but lonely nonetheless.

New Years = uneventful, as usual, because I had to work in the morning.

Friendly's = sucky, as usual.

My 21st was so fabulous. Kris, Jane, Jason, Emily, Manda and I went to the Villa for dinner... I drank a bottle of champagne and got really giggly... It was a great time. Lubes gave me an A in Euro Politics... and then an A- in Ideals and Ideologies... it so should have been the other way around... what a crazy professor. But I'm not complaining. 3.95... semester wasn't so bad after all, academically ( Read more... )

2 finals down, 1 more to go.  Lubes gave me an A- and an A on my final papers... I can't express how relieved I am... the stress is beginning to lift... although I have my staff meeting tonight and I always end up more stressed out afterwards, just because inevitably adds to my never-ending to-do list.
