Instead of going to a party, I'm sitting here eating bean soup. The soup is good, but I'd rather be teaching a bunch of people how to do the stroll. Yes, yesterday the hostess told me she was trying to find instructions for it for the 50s party

I love that dance. It's so laid back and so much fun.

I know what you mean about getting sucked into the brain rot. I bought myself a HUGE encyclopedia of Philosophy for my bedtime reading just for that reason. Next, I'm asking a Lit professor friend to get me a list of the 100 best books ever written, and I'm going through it, one by one, even if I've already read them. I may send him the email tonight.

PS: The London Times list that was recently going around where they thought the average person had only read 6 of the 100 listed? I had read 88 of them. LOL

Once I decided to go through the alphabet, by author. I'm not sure how far I got; it was some years ago. I should try that again, but starting with Z. In fact, maybe that will be one of my 2010 small goals.
Now I gotta find a Z author!
