I've listened to the alexis album about 4 times now, nothing stands out apart from No Rest. I think if i had never heard alexis i'd think it was good, but it doesn't even touch their old stuff. I'll have to pinch Blackhole from you... somehow.

Oh I left Jacqui's picture on the fridge, do you reckon you could look after it for me until you come down? Stick it in a book or birthday card or something.

I expected great things from Alexis, after hearing Young Cardinals on their myspace, but the rest of the album definitely isn't up to their usual standard. I think i don't like it as much, as their seems to be a distinct lack of Dallas singing parts - he seems to have a taken the back seat. The one at the very back that face backwards like in those old volvo's. x
