They hadn't left Em and Jase's house since Gabe's little visit, neither of them wanting to venture near the big house. None of them had even spoken about it since it happened. Sin was rather shocked at Gabe's appearance, she'd never known him to walk around with the leopard's eyes and fangs

He wasn't being hard to find but elusive might begin to cover it. Curled up in the guest room, staring at the television but it wasn't on.

He'd been trying to think. What did he want? What should they do? And could he be man enough to hold them if they left?

Not even flinching as Sin came in, his tones flat as he answered.

"Gave Nathaniel his tapes and didn't warn the house."

"Ouch."

Making her way over to the bed, Sin curls up against him, resting her head on his shoulder. "So, what are we going to do?"

Immediately curling an arm around her, pulling her close. "He had every right to them. And that Gabe didn't see this coming isn't my fault,' he murmured, pressing his lips against her hair.

She slips her arm over his arm, her hand squeezing his. "I'm still missing a piece of the puzzle. Why was he pissed that you gave Nathaniel the tapes?"
