How are you doing? I empathize with you, I really do. I know what it is like to be in love with someone who is completely wrong for you and treats you terribly, but when you two break up, all you do is want them back. I think it is a trick of the mind, and a cruel one at that, to have it so that after you break up, you remember the good times. You just have to keep telling yourself that he was no good for you. (Check out my LJ and you will see plenty of rants about my former lady).
I am also in the same boat as you are relationship wise. I have always been attracted to black women, but in my area, it is HIGHLY frowned upon (which I don't care about, but it tends to discourage prospective dates). Plus, most of the few black ladies in my town are friends with my ex, so I am obviously the bad guy now. *Sigh*. I can't wait until I get everything situated and move to Atlanta!!
