2010 not off to the best start but eh.

So. About 2:30 am Sunday I get a phone call from my dad that my mom is being taken to the hospital. Apparently, her blood sugar levels dropped like crazy and she collapsed in the bathroom. Thankfully, she didn't hit her head on the counter or floor and aside from a bruise on her arm, she's okay from the fall. If it had happened a couple of years ( Read more... )

Thanks, me too. I'm always terrified when my phone rings unexpectedly late at night.

I was browsing Aaron's book website just a little bit ago--absolutely precious! His reviews are so funny. I can't remember which review it was but it ended something like, "It was really funny ending but I don't want to tell you so you can read it in the book." So cute!

I am SO SORRY I didn't get to see you yesterday! I was so looking forward to seeing Nine, although Maren said it wasn't very good. Pretty, but not very good.

My mom did tell me that my dad is now addicted to Glee. He was on vacation this week so he and my mom would watch several episodes a night. I think they started on Tuesday when she bought the DVDs and finished Thursday afternoon. He absolutely loves the show and, of course, Sue.

Be careful driving back tomorrow!! I absolutely loved getting together with y'all on NYE!! *hugs*

Oh sweetie, I wish I'd gotten to see you again too, but I understood completely. I'm just glad everything is okay. It was really great to see you, and I'll let you know when I'm in town next; hopefully we'll be able to get together sometime this summer. ♥

It's going to be an awesome game. I don't think it'll be a blow-out either way (I mean, I wish it would be...) because each team is strong offensively and defensively, with a slight offensive edge to y'all and a slight defensive edge to us. Gonna be some fireworks!

Seriously, I thought this game would be offensive explosion. Uh, TCU, you wanna bother playing?

I honestly don't think I would survive the game. I barely survive watching a regular season game at my apartment, when I'm at a game, it's ridiculous, so I can't imagine what I'd be like at THE GAME.

I'm debating on whether I'll even post during the game. I'm afraid I may throw my laptop if we play poorly at all. ;)
