I'm trying to be excited about S4 of The OC. The truth is....I haven't watched my DVD's in months. I haven't checked my usual places for Ben news daily....or weekly.... Am I losing interest? I really hope not! I saw the buff Ben pics and he looks damn good! I want to be excited, I really do. Maybe it will come as November gets closer

Awww, your new TV bf is adorable! I have never seen The Office, but I have heard very good things. I might have to check it out.

I know what you mean about the OC thing. I still love it, and of course Ben, but it's just been gone for so long. I just saw a new trailer after Prison Break, so that did make me pretty happy. Hope you are doing well :)

I've felt up and down all summer, but I'm determined to get back in the groove and drag you with me, kicking and screaming. I know there'll be advent fic soon, and I am toying with the idea of doing an !a to z of the OC countdown to the new season over the 26 days leading up to the premiere. It seems fitting, as this will probably be the last season, and reminiscing may help people get back to that excited place...

I think t.v. is supposed to be like that. Where interest for a show wanes, especially when they don't keep up the brilliance or momentum you first fell in love with. And if I recall correctly, you're a Marissa/Ryan shipper, so it would make sense that you wouldn't be too excited about S4 sans Marissa.
But interest in other shows picks up and replaces that... I think it's part of what it's all about.
