Have you ever wondered who runs the kitchen on Atlantis? Somebody has to plan meals and manage the staff that serves them. Meet Cafeteria Lady. She doesn't have a name and probably never will, but she has a lot to say. And a million thanks to Nolamom for the .gif.

OMG, so awesome! Reread it probably four times before I sat down to write this comment!

But my curiosity is peaked even more: in the last post, when CL says that "now that we have her (Doctor Weir) back, my dream has become a reality" ... care to explain how she came home?

Or is that in CL's next monologue??? :P

In any case, love this! Love CL, can't wait to see her again!

I haven't really thought about how they got her back. But I'm sure, at some point, CL will reveal a bit of detail.

I'm starting to get a taste for cafeteria lady fics (no, that was not a bad pun). Loved the NCO/Ma'am bit, and the observation about Colonel Carter's lunch habits (and the way that you did it without having a dig at Carter, just that it was "odd", much like that season).

I want to hear more about this "you love as you eat" theory, although I suspect more detail would be wholly inappropriate :p

Thanks for reading. CL is a genuinely nice person. You have to be a real jerk for her to dislike you, but she doesn't suffer fools very well. We'll be hearing what she thinks of a lot of things soon.

Finally got to finish this! I LOVED IT! She's a gem. Loved especially the tone; you captured that storyteller down-home feel beautifully. And all the Sparky moments had me aww awwwwing the whole read. :3 <3
