So, this morning, I'm getting ready to make cookies because SOMEONE *cough spitfiren9 cough* has to have cookies when she's decorating the tree.  I put said sheet pan of cookies in the oven and turn around to turn on the microwave as a timer.  Now, you might ask, "Well, 4x, why don't you use an egg timer?".  We had one, but it had gotten misplaced, and Luke

Does your microwave not have a timer on it? Most of them do, so you don't have to run it empty. While you can do that, it's really not good for the microwave.
