Ramblings and Confusion

I'm not the best at making posts since I tend to be to the point about things. It has been about a month since I joined LJ and it has been good and bad. The good is that I have met a couple of previously married guys that are now openly gay. Thanks to tbone, he has posed some serious questions about knowing my true sexuality. I admire both ( Read more... )

Thanks. I will try but with 5 kids loose in the streets of Paris, it could be a stressful Christmas.
Enjoy your second Christmas. Maybe next year you can celebrate as one with your ENTIRE family, including R.
I will offer the same in return to you, just e-mail.

Somehow I missed this post during all the Christmas crazyness. I'm sorry that you had a bad experience at the gay married mens group...I'd be turned off by that too.

Hope you and the family had a great time in Paris...sounds wonderful. I've never been there.

I'm always glad to help someone else out. Feel free to e-mail me anytime you have questions, or concerns or just neeed to vent...and you can just say hi too.

Hugs and Happy New Year!

Paris and 5 kids southerntierny January 10 2006, 00:47:56 UTC
Paris sounded like fun but on the first day one of the 5 kids got separated in Le Louvre and the walkie talkies didn't work inside. So much for planning. We came up with alternative plans for meeting when one of us got separated! It was the most stressful Christmas for my wife and I but one of the best for the kids. It was worth it.
I just logged on to LJ and I think I am in the same "rethinking" phase that Jim is presently in. I agree that January is a popular introspection time.
Thanks for the offer to let me vent. I was getting fed up with some of the posts on LJ from a select few. They didn't have my view of "less is more" but rather they droned on and on.
A break from LJ has got me back to reality, my reality. I appreciate your posts but I am a bit shy to post a reply.

Hi Jeff,
Thanks for the message. I haven't been on line much cause it is harvest here. I have a farm that supports me and my family.
I have added you as my friend so you can read all the things that have happened.
I'll write more in a bit when harvest has slowed down.
Thanks for the message!
Mike

Sorry buddy, fruits only! LOL. That is not a joke either but I had to make the comment!
The farm is mostly apples, peaches, apricots, plums. Biggest part are apples.
I have looked through yours a bit and we've got some similar interests.
Thanks for inviting me as a friend, I'm a bit shy!

LJ is simple... don't judge but prepare to be judged... listen to others point of view openly and be prepared to have yours attacked... friend who you like but they may not friend you back... don't friend someone just because they friended you... just be you and you will be fine

oh and by the way Sugarland's CDs and my two favorite to listen to at the moment... peace out

I like your perspective on LJ. I defriended someone that I thought is the biggest fake, user and loser early on and I never regreted it for a minute.
Both Sugarland CDs are in my truck right now and that is about all I listen to. You don't find many people who like country!

Thanks for taking the time to give some of your own experiences with coming out. I'm going to add you as a friend so that you can read more if you are interested. I'm not one for a lot of words but that is me.
I'm finding my way through life but it seems slow and there are hurdles along the way that is making me realize things about myself and in some cases making me stronger.
A sincere thanks for sharing your observations and wisdom, they didn't sound preachy at all!
