:) Don't worry. After that one trip around on the artificial creek (pronounced round here as "crick"), I found a life jacket that actually fit the little man (his size was in short supply) and strapped him in good and tight. I just thought it was kind of funny that after all the roller coasters, log flumes, ferris wheels, and various spinning carnival rides, that it would be the "Lazy River" that gives me something like real chills and thrills. That's supposed to be the most relaxing part of the park, after all!
At the water park we went to as kids, we used to race around the lazy river, at least when me and my sister were old enough to do it by ourselves and keep track of my little brother (with flotation even though he could swim) on our own. No clue if this worried my mother or she enjoyed that she wasn't doing the wrangling and we were working off energy.
And I've taken to the same thoughts. Been out exploring a foreign country by myself several times now. In fact, since tomorrow is the least hot day this week, off to see another temple or two, shop for neat little gifts and beer taste on my own.

Now THAT sounds fun! Sounds a lot lazier than the lazy river. I'm a little jealous. :)

But hon - make that kid wear a floaty. For God's sake, please.

And, FYI, it's 'crick' here, too.
