I am fucking furious right now. I wake up to my mom crying and screaming and being hysterical and the reason behind this is the fucking incompetence of FEMA and Louisiana. I am sorry I haven't responded to your posts as of yet. I honestly had not been keeping up with LJ. Emmett, I don't know what to say to you.. sorry seems to trivial. I want you to know that I have cried as I read your postings. I have a 74 year old grandmother and don't even want to begin to think about losing her, let alone the way you have. I wish i could ease your suffering, if only for a moment. Believe it or not, you are loved by the ppl you have touched online throughout the years, myself included. Thank you! That really meant a lot to hear that, but it wasn't my intention for posting this but you made me feel much better, thank you for that. I stated in this post not to read it because all I have in my journal is a lot of negativity and there is some happiness but I am only inspiried to write lately by pain which there is an abundence of lately. I have an article from last Sunday's Times Picayune about my grandma and a few others but it's a bogue article that the corner gave and it appears he and his wife are trying to cover someone's ass, maybe their own, but either way it's a BS story. As soon as I get a scanner I'll post it in my journal. Anyway, how are you doing? I haven't been paying much attention to other's on LJ but I plan (been saying that for a while) to do so. Well, thanks again take care and don't be a stranger.

My life is pretty decent right now. I just started a new job that I love, I'm a CNA (certified nursing assistaint) at our local nursing home. And I'm making some plans for some life changes next year. I meant what I said, if you just need to talk, even if not online, let me know. I can email you my # if nothing else.

Thank you for that. FEMA will pay for the pain it brought but I am just glad to have good news rather then the normal suffering I have been updating lately. But, thanks again.
