i really don't write that much. i used to all the time, but i never do it as much as i would like to anymore.

I agree with pequest, you write very well. I can picture the log cabin and your great grandmother sitting in it. That's a really cool story too, I wish I knew more about my great grandparents!

i love when people remember/talk about their grandparents! it's where we come from. and interesting, because most people have completely different histories and lives.
