Looking for opinions on a logo

So I wanted to get some opinions on a few logotypes I put together for my novel. Some have only minor differences (E & F are mainly changes in the "G" and lower-case letter height). I'll do some texture and embossing techniques later, but I wanted to get some feedback to narrow down the list

A slight revision to that sentence (part of the writing course I'm also taking): "In 1880s America, two estranged half-brothers search for their late father's hidden steamtech lab, while avoiding murderous attacks set in motion by a rival inventor who wants to revitalize his lapsed reputation."

Most of them are from a company called Letterhead Fonts. They have their catalogue broken down by types. I mainly stick to the late 1800s section. :)

C! I like the ornateness of the initial letters, but the slightly less ornate other letters. VERY cool!
