I Can't Draw

This is not news to anyone who knows me. I want to draw. I have awesome pictures in my head that I really want to become reality, but it won't be my hand that makes it happen. Perhaps that's why I was a fairly successful art director - I can communicate fairly clearly what I want in language familiar to the skilled artisan who can do something

I fear between my work and my eyes, I'm losing the ability to write, creatively write that is. Where it used to be my work wouldn't necessarily challenge all my mental cylinders, now it does. Likewise the double-vision thins means I can spend less time looking at digital screens before the headaches come. I'm hoping therapy can help that

You comment about drums neatly parallels my entry into graphic design. That's why I went back to school for it. I found out that hard way that it requires an eye for art and an understanding of all the same concepts, and I can create that with a computer.
