Hey, Happy New Year! Had you planned to go the Street Party thing last night? I imagine that last minute cancellation was a bit rubbish for a lot of people.

Happy NY to you too.. yeah I was going and completely understand why they cancelled it - cause I was out in it. I think next years celebrations will take place indoors...

It was way too rough to go ahead with it... I got soaked and blown around enough just walking part of the way to my mate's house. After that, I was very glad to be indoors where it was warm and dry.

It's a shame really, because it can be a good night without torrential downpours and gale force winds.

Me and some friends were discussing this last night.. tradition has passed us by - which is rather sad - as only one of us knew the words!

We were given the lyrics to auld langs syne at the party we went to, it's the first time i actually knew what i was singing for the whole song! lol
