I've been away from LJ for a little while now, and I'm sorry. I think a lot of the time I'm still in denial from everything that has happened in the last four months and find myself completely disconnected from it all, and the rest of the time I'm on emotional overload ( Read more... )

Sweetheart, you have nothing to apologise for. You've had an incredibly rough time of it - I think not being bothered with LJ in that period is more than understandable!

aw honey you're adorable. it's really great to hear from you.

I've read through twice and can't really seem to figure out which bit of the world you're in! Where are you? :)

Anyways, no idea whether I'm the only one on your list planning a wedding, but yes plans are going well and we;re ahead of schedule with the planning now so we can afford to sit back and relax a bit, although now its just annoying that we've managed this much with 18 months still to go grrrrrr

Sorry, I should have filled in the 'location bit' down the bottom:

Location: Edinburgh, Scotland.

I've been back for a couple of weeks, but it's hard to get back into everything. I kind of feel out of place everywhere at the moment.

Yes, it was you I was wondering about. I didn't realise you still have 18 months to go! That's forever! Well it isn't, but it seems like that now! I'm glad things are going well for you both.

yeah 18 months because an average Maltese wedding takes 2 years to book. Everyone books everything so much in advance, you have no chance to have a decent type of wedding unless you go with the flow and book everything that much in advance too - otherwise you'll find that everything's been booked and you're left with the leftovers. Alas.

Agh! That's harsh. You could always run away and have a little beach wedding or something and then have your 'proper' wedding when it comes! Then you'll have two dates to celebrate.. or you could have your run away wedding on the date of your proper wedding (easier for guys to remember the dates then!) :)

*gives ya a big hug* hey there sweets :) is nice to see you on here again :)

As for what I've been up too, well in a nutshell, that girl I was sort of kind of seeing in Sydney, Leigh, yeah thats not happening anymore, I mean we are still friends, but there is now not a chance in hell of anything beyond that happening. I could go into further detail as to why that is, but to be honest, I really don't much feel like going over it all in my head all over again lol.

But in bigger news, I've finally moved to Albury! I finally managed to pull away from the gravitational pull of the black hole that is Chiltern! Hurrah!

and yeah, I am absolutely LOVING IT in Albury!! :D

Thats about all I have going on at the moment, though as soon as i can get the money together for it, I'm going to be starting to study to be a counsellor :)

Glad you finally moved. It's always a fabulous feeling moving away, doing something unexpected. Being the ONE to leave and go explore, do something new other than just live in the same little town you were born in. At least for no other reason, when your highschool reunion comes around, and the question comes up 'what have you done since highschool' at the least you can say you moved. Lucky me for my highschool reunion this year (which I didn't want to go to anyway) people who notice my absense can be told I now live on the other side of the planet. It's really just an excuse not to attend! ;)
