Leaking roof.

When we got this house inspected, we found a roof leak. Wasn't major, mainly an issue in the attic, but roofs can be expensive so we insisted that the bank either drop the price or fix the roof before we bought the place. They chose to fix it. And...either it didn't work, or the worker made it worse

You should definitely have legal recourse. The sale was contingent on them fixing the roof and they didn't actually fix it.

I'm hoping it doesn't turn out that my saying "Ok, looks good" when they finished up was acceptance of work as-is and a release from further responsibility. Pretty sure they'll try though.
