Aye, the sweatlodge is the best way I've experienced. That shouldn't be too hard to replicate at home, though. May take some experimenting. Have you tried crushing it into water and letting the water boil?

Huh! I will give that a shot. Would that work with dried, braided stuff, or would I need to have fresh sweetgrass?

You can get charcoal briquettes at a specialty smoking shop that you light on fire/heat up and then can sprinkle herbs onto that work really well for this sort of thing. :) Otherwise sweetgrass essential oil in an oil diffuser is good for the home and minus the smoke.

Ooh, we'll have to try that! I think we've got some lying around the house. Oil and such might be harder to come by, but the briquettes sound perfect.
