ryoma_nakamada Love at first sight -- Gloxinia
Just another, plain, boring school day for Yamada Ryosuke. He sighed drearily, staring out the window that occupied the space next to his desk. Everything seemed to bore him; the teacher, the lesson, the back of Chinen’s head. However, all “boring” thoughts were dispersed, as a particularly beautiful young “lady” walked into the somewhat gray classroom.
“ My name’s Shida Mirai, please take care of me.” The room seemed to explode with color as she politely bowed, everything and everyone blurring around him, except for that one special girl.
“Please, take a seat next to Yamada-kun, and we’ll see if you can catch up.” Yamada watched her intently as she smiled and nodded her head at the teacher kindly. Walking to the back, she occupied the empty seat to the right of him, Yamada still staring and lost in his own thoughts.
Shida coughed awkwardly, offering her hand out for him to shake it. “I’m Shida Mirai. I hope we can get along.” The kind smile the played across her face almost made Yamada faint. Dazedly, he took the hand and shook it gently, marking this moment as one of the greatest things that happened in his current lifetime.
He had to show her the impact she made on him with her smile; to show how much he’s going to treasure spending time with her in the future.
“What’s this?” Shida asked him the next day, outside of the classroom. Yamada shifted uncomfortably, cheeks tinting bright pink. “It’s a Gloxinia - isn’t it pretty?” Shida nodded, smelling the beautiful flower she held delicately in her hand. “What’s it for? I mean, I just met you yesterday.” She cocked her head to the right in a bit of confusion; causing Yamada’s face to grow even more pink. “Just … Google the meaning of it …” And with that, he ran inside the safety of the classroom, flailing his arms madly at Yuto and Chinen.
“What do you think it means?” Shida asked her best friend later that night. She admired the flower from different angles, the deep purple color catching her attention. Her friend crept out of Shida’s bed, heading for the computer and doing as Yamada told Shida to do. “Oh my. Gloxinia - love at first sight.”
Shida could feel her face heat up as her friend started fantansies of what Yamada and Shida would be like as a couple. She even went as far as marriage.
Thee I only do love -- Arbutus
Several months have passed since the Gloxinia incident, everybody in the classroom gossiping about the blossoming relationship between the two; even the teachers were in on it. It was an absolutely gorgeous summer day out, Shida breathing the fresh summer air in. “Mira-chan~” She smiled and turned to the owner of the voice , only to be greeted by a single white flower in her face. “Yama-chan … it’s … gorgeous. Is it for me?” She asked, gently taking the magnificent flower. Yamada nodded slowly, sitting next to her. “Oh my … just … wow.” She thought for a moment, almost completely speechless. “Wait, last time you gave me a flower, it had a special meaning.” She narrowed her eyes. “What’s it for this time?”
Yamada sighed, snaking an arm around her waist. “You got me. It does have a meaning … a very special meaning.” He leaned in close,to whisper into her ear. Her heart pouded against her chest, hoping she’d hear what she ‘d been wanting to hear.
“Thee I only do love.” He whispered sweetly, kissing her cheek.
Let’s take a chance - White Violet
“Two years Ryosuke - two years since you first told me that you love me.” Shida sighed, reminiscing in Yamada’s arms. Yamada smiled contently, leaning into his couch, allowing Shida to listen to his pounding heartbeat. “Yupp. I have a special present to celebrate that day-“
“It’s a flower isn’t it?” She cut him off. He smiled cheekily, handing her a white violet. She sat up, admiring the white flower with a purple splash from all angles. “What does it mean this time?” Yamada smirked slyly, happy she asked this question. Shida could feel her face burn with redness as Yamada hugged her from behind, tightly around her chest.
“Let’s take a chance.” He whispered into her ear huskily, kissing her neck in the process. She squeaked, nodding at the suggestion.
They ended their night in a hot mess, warming each other with the fiery passion that was ignited in the both of them.
Happiness in marriage -- Stephanotis
“Why’d we have to take a walk along the beach - when it’s snowing?!” Shida complained, marching in front of Yamada along the shoreline. Yamada pouted trailing behind her. “I just wanted to take my favorite girl to my favorite beach - after all, you did say I could pick out our 7 year anniversary location.” Shida rolled her eyes, shoving her hands in her pockets. Yamada sighed, bending down on one knee. Shida stopped, turning around at the absence of her lover. “Ryosuke, cmon it’s cold - you can tie your shoe somewhere else.”
Yamada chuckled, beckoning for her to come closer. “What?” She asked curiously. Her question was answered as he pulled out a few small white flowers tied together, in what seemed to be in a formation to resemble a ring. Still on one knee, she held it up for her to see; she watched the snowflakes fall on the beautiful flower, it shining with each flake falling upon it.
Yamada smiled gently, twirling it so she could look at it better. “Stephanotis - it means happiness in marriage.” Shida gasped, tears forming in her eyes as he softly took her hand and slid the “ring” onto her ring finger. “Shida Mirai. You have been the source of my happiness for 7 years, ever since I was 16 - I love you with all of my heart and it’ll stay that way forever and always. I want you to stay mine, I want to raise children with you - I want to grow old with you.” Shida covered her mouth, tears of joy spilling out of her eyes as he stood up.
“Will you marry me, future Yamada Mirai?” At a loss for words, Shida nodded furiously, while Yamada brought her closer to him.
He caressed her cheek gently, wiping away her tears. “I love you.” He whispered sincerely, before capturing her lips with his own.
Goodbye; Departure - Sweetpea
He cried silently as he ran his fingers through her hair for the last time. There she laid - lifeless and still as beautiful as ever. He ran his finger over every facial feature, not wanting to admit her wouldn’t see it ever again. He’ll never gaze into those beautiful eyes, he’ll never never be able to caress thos rosy cheeks, he’ll never be able to whisper sweet nothings into those ears, he’ll never be able to kiss that nose; he’ll never be able to taste those sweet lips again.
He couldn’t believe she was gone - their relationship finally bloomed; they were finally going to get married. He whished it was him who was hit by that car - he wished she didn’t act brave and push him out of the way.
The last time he’d ever be able to do it, he pressed his forehead against hers, wishing that he could feel her breath against his lips.
But nothing was there - she was taken away forever.
He straightened himself, his tears falling down on her cheeks. He placed a a single pink flower in her hand, and tried to smile, knowing she wouldn’t want to see him cry. He softly kissed her fading pink cheeks for the last time.
Walking out of the church, a few read the beautiful pink flower full of life in her cold hand. “My wife, my love, my Mira-chan. Here’s my last flower for you, I tried to pick it with a smile this morning. Forever and always you’ll have my heart. I’ll never love anybody else; it’ll all be a lie if I do. Sweetpea - goodbye.”
A/N: The last flower made me cry, even though I wrote it. Sorry if I failed. D:
