Part Two

Jeff was keeping lists. He had a list of hospital foods he would never eat again; a list of things that Britta, Shirley, Troy, and Abed did that annoyed him; a list of people who were not, under any circumstances, allowed in his room (Pierce Hawthorne, Ben Chang, and Ian Duncan). Jeff was keeping track of all the ways he’d conceived of ( Read more... )

I'm loving this - especially seeing it from Jeff's point of view, slowly realizing what Annie's been doing. Can't wait for the next part :)

You can't leave it there!!! I need to know what happens next!

Jeff's misery in this chapter is really well done and believable. I can so relate to how Jeff's feeling right now. (although not as bad as his injuries) I fractured my ankle in high school and needed surgery. I was in a wheelchair briefly and then crutches for months. I will never again underappreciate a shower. And shaving. Anyway, probably TMI (sorry bout that) but just wanted to say that I could totally relate to what Jeff's going through and you wrote his misery and anger at being so useless and completely dependent on others really well.

UGH, I don't even mean to leave cliffhangers, it just happens. I'm sorry! No worries, Part Three will probably be posted either tomorrow or Sunday.

I've never had surgery (Thankfully, knock on wood!) but my mom was in the hospital last year for 12 days after her appendix burst, and didn't fully recover for two months. It was baffling to her not being able to just take a shower or go for a walk or whatever she wanted to do when she did it. I think we always take our good health for granted until something comes along and pulls the rug out from underneath us, right?

Thank you so much for reading, I really appreciate the fact that you took the time to comment!

AAAHHH. SO AWESOME. Really, like it's on par with glorious creamy pastries. ^.^

You do seem to have a knack for cliffhanger-y endings and I love that Annie has been secretly manning operations, all behind a veil of secrecy. Cause she's flippin' brilliant like that.

Can't wait to read what comes next!
