Sorry about the lack of icons lately. SOLs, homework, extracurricular activities, procrastination... you know how those things go. Just wanted to squeeze this measly batch in before the weekend is over.

I'm slowly converting back to my old style! :3

How did you make the lines like in #5 and in a few others? Sorry, I just love to learn new things in Photoshop. ^_^

That's just a pattern. To make:

Open Photoshop. Make a new image. 3 pixels by 3 pixels. Transparent background.

Zoom in to the maximum amount. Take a pencil tool, make it 1 pixel, and draw three dots in a diagonal form. (left upper corner, middle, and right lower corner, or vice versa).

Go to edit, define pattern, and select ok.

When you have an image you want to use the pattern on, go to the f icon on the bottom and choose pattern overlay. pick the pattern you made and there you are! Your very own, diagonal pattern.

Try using different blend modes, such as overlay or soft light, to create cool effects. Play with the fill and opacity if it seems too harsh, and remember that you can always erase.

Oh, yeah, when you make the pattern, it can be different colours other than black, so you could have a different coloured pattern.

Hoped that helped.
