I've been trying to find what prop 2 is lol. Please explain. I see signs on campus and I have no idea and would like to know what it is.

Proposal is a proposed amendment to the Michigan Constitution that would write in that "the union of one man and one woman is the only union that will be recognized as marriage or any other union for any purpose." This proposal is blatant discrimination. This is more than just bad for same-sex couples, but it is bad for straight couples because it disallows domestic partner benefits and employeers the right to decide what benefits they are allowed to give their employees. It is bad for Michigan and this does not need to be a part of our Constitution. I urge you to please please please vote NO on proposal 2

I thought it was about casinos or something and it's much more important than that. I'm so against that proposal. Thank you for giving me the basics on what it is and bringing it to my attention. I'd say that issue is my number 3 reason for voting for Badnarik and that is important to me in the state as well. I will be voting NO on that.
