Hey, that's great! Erika is a friend of mine. Actually, she appears in another one of my comics (2nd Night, where I talk about France a bunch). It's sad that Dar is over, I bought Dar v. 2 from her a couple weeks ago in Portland... but luckily she is working on some rad new projects!
And... I love drawing noses like this. It definitely has some roots in European cartoonists, but it's become an amalgam of influences. For a while I was obsessed with different ways of drawing noses and I've finally pretty much settled down with this style.
