I'm sure it hasn't escaped your attention that Paul Rudd is in every movie that's come out in the last 8 years, and he will continue to be in every movie that comes out for the next 20. I cannot possibly be any help in this situation. Zach is a mystery to me! I will tell you, though, that I'm getting Joel a massage gift certificate for Christmas. Any chance that sparks any ideas?

I just finished my shopping for Shannon. A single hour at Target. No reason I should have put it off that long.

I might as well use this moment to invite you people out to my house on New Years. We're inviting lots of people over, so it would be remiss of me not to invite you guys. If you've got plans, we can arrange a visit one direction or another.

I got a hot tip that I'm getting Settlers for Christmas. What really happened is that I was thinking out loud for ideas for my parents, and when I mentioned Settlers she says "Don't tell them to buy you that."

The cat was out of the bag.

Well, if you're having lots of people over and that's the ONLY reason you're inviting us...

For reals, though, I have no idea what Joel and I are doing for New Year's. Usually we have Nick over and plans shape themselves from there, but he's being a bit elusive so we're not sure what's going on. Joel might even wind up going to visit him in NY. In any event, I'm considering this an open inviation and will include it on my list of possibilities, even if I have to come solo and cuddle with Shannon. Sorry. You can take the floor.

Hells, I'd rather have just the two of you over. The other people coming are friends of Carl and Hella's (though Shannon knows them too). I could have phrased the invitation better tho.

But yes, open invitation for you, with or without your man. :)
