Woke up this morning to a phone call from my partner in the new computer consulting venture (hereafter referred to as Mr. Z).  Got out of bed, through the shower, and out the door faster than I have in a long time.  Made $112.50 in an hour and a half straightening up the shared printer settings and internal DNS of a new client in Des Plaines.  Ran ( Read more... )

You could try shortening your sentences such that you can get your point across real fast. "Computers pays $100 per hour, fuck you!" for instance.

I should, and I've been trying to, but it's proving tougher than I'd imagined it would be to keep myself from doing it. It's also problematic when I need to convey a complex idea to someone who can't wait their turn to speak.

Honestly, this is the main reason why I prefer to talk to people through writing, email, instant messengers, and so forth. The opportunity to interrupt someone is an unlikely occurrence at best.
