John woke up with a pounding head, a mouth that tasted like the inside of a garbage can, and no memory of going to bed the night before. When the fog in his brain cleared a little, he realized he was naked under the blankets and wrapped around another equally naked body - a body that felt suspiciously large and solid and not at all like one of the pretty girls he'd been flirting with at the celebration.
He cracked open one eye and saw a vast amount of white flesh covering a broad, very male shoulder. John closed his eye again and prayed that he was dreaming. When he opened his eyes for real, he told himself, he would be in bed alone and not cuddled up against the warm, wide, and, oh sweet Jesus, totally naked back of one Rodney McKay.
He held his breath, opened his eyes, and squeezed them shut again. He lay perfectly still for a few minutes, and then he carefully lifted his arm from around Rodney's waist and moved slowly back and away. He slid out of the bed taking great care not to bounce the mattress and awaken the slumbering physicist, then stood on slightly shaky legs and took stock.
He was sore in places that hadn't been sore in a very, very long time, his cock was quiescent as if it didn't have the energy to achieve its usual morning erection, and he felt sticky both from sweat and another substance he didn't really want to identify.
John pressed the heels of his hands into his aching eyes and suppressed a moan. He couldn't remember very much from the night before except drinking a toast to the trade agreement he'd negotiated between the Lanteans and the people of M7X-375. After the toast of ice-cold water from the sacred spring, small sweet cakes made of a rice-like grain - they'd kind of tasted like Rice Krispies Treats - had been passed around. After that, he had only hazy memories of dancing and flirting with some of the village's pretty girls. He certainly didn't remember getting naked and having sex with Rodney, but when he passed his hand over his stomach and felt the telltale coating of dried semen that covered his skin, he couldn't deny the evidence that confronted him.
Oh, fuck.
How could he have done this? Granted, having sex with Rodney had crossed his mind more than once, but he would never have done anything about it. Even if he hadn't been the military commander of Atlantis and responsible for setting an example - although, really, if he were careful... Well, regardless of that, he would have bet his pension that Rodney was not interested in him or any man sexually. Rodney might be totally inept when it came to romancing women, but that didn't mean anything about his sexual orientation; it just meant he was a geek.
John glanced down at the bed's occupant again. Rodney slept on, completely oblivious to John's crisis, and John decided to take advantage of his friend's insentience. He glanced around and spotted a basin and jug on a small table a few feet from the bed and used his stealthiest mode to creep over to the table. He lifted the jug and poured some of the water into the basin. Within minutes, he had all traces of the night's indiscretion washed from his body. He then dressed as quickly and silently as possible, gathered everything that would identify him as Rodney's bedmate, and snuck out of the room.
He was relieved to see that he was the first member of his team to make an appearance in the dining hall of his host's home. The house was the largest building in the village and was owned by the leader of the village's governing council. It was also the site of the previous night's festivities. The dining hall, now cleaned of all traces of the party, was much like the great hall in a medieval manor, built of stone and wood and furnished with long tables and benches.
Servants appeared as soon as he sat down bringing hot fresh-baked bread with butter and honey, a bowl of fruit, and more of the cold, clear spring water that the villagers revered. John took a cautious bite from a juicy, pear-like fruit and waited several seconds to see if it would stay down. When he was sure the fruit wasn't going to make him sick, he hungrily ate the rest and then fixed a slice of bread and honey.
Bright sunlight flooded the room when someone opened the large door to the outside, and John blinked and turned his head away from the light. When the door was closed again, John looked over to see their host, Lotan Cebarra, approaching him with a broad grin on his face.
"Ah, friend Sheppard," the portly man said, smacking John companionably on the back. John winced as shafts of pain lasered through his head. "A fine morning to you."
"Uh, thanks" John answered once his brain stopped ricocheting around in his skull.
Lotan sat down opposite John, poured a cup of water, and snatched up a piece of fruit, biting into it enthusiastically. When he finished chewing, he said, "You enjoyed yourself last night, yes?"
John choked on the water he'd just sipped. "Enjoyed?" he managed to gasp out.
"Yes, at the celebration. You and your companions enjoyed yourselves, yes?"
"To be honest," John said cautiously, "I don't remember much."
Lotan laughed heartily. "This is not a surprise for the kana cakes often render us without memory. It is said that those with clear minds after a night of celebration did not eat enough kana."
John stared in dawning enlightenment at his host. "Are you telling me those rice cakes were drugged?"
Lotan looked at him in confusion. "I do not understand 'drugged'."
"Mind altering," John said with a hard tone to his voice. "Distorting our perceptions and releasing our inhibitions."
"Ah," Lotan said with a nod. "Then, yes. We use the kana cakes during special celebrations so that we may all enjoy ourselves to the greatest extent possible without reticence."
John's hand tightened around his cup. "We should have been warned," he said with barely suppressed anger. "It's not our way to lose control of our reticence while on missions. It could be dangerous for us and for those around us."
Lotan looked upset at John's words. "Then I apologize, friend Sheppard. It was not our intention to break your taboo. However," he added, smiling broadly at John, "no harm came from it. You and your companions danced and sang with us and then retired to your rooms."
John bit his tongue to keep from shouting at the village leader just how much harm may have come of it. If Rodney remembered anything that had happened during the night, it could very well destroy the friendship he and John shared.
John knew he gave off an aura of geniality and charm, but a lifetime of hurts and disappointments had caused him to build an emotional barrier between himself and others, even those closest to him. It had been a lonely way to live, but he'd gotten used to it over the years. Somehow though, he'd formed a friendship with Rodney unlike any he'd ever experienced; a friendship that only seemed to grow tighter as time passed regardless of arguments and the stresses they faced in the Pegasus Galaxy. And as much as John longed for an even closer relationship with Rodney, he treasured the friendship they did have and didn't want anything to ruin it. Now he feared that the innocent ingestion of the kana cakes and the resulting aftermath may very well accomplish what even Doranda hadn't.
Lotan left John to his breakfast after their uncomfortable conversation, and a few minutes later, Ronan and Teyla entered the dining hall. John watched them carefully as they walked toward him, but they seemed fine with no signs of hangover or discomfort.
"Good morning, Colonel," Teyla said with a smile as she sat opposite him and poured herself a glass of water.
"Sheppard," Ronon said brusquely before he snatched up a piece of fruit and took a big bite.
"You two okay?" John asked.
Teyla looked at him in surprise. "Quite well, Colonel. Should we not be?"
"We were drugged last night," John answered.
They both looked surprised, and Teyla frowned.
"I did awake with a slight headache this morning, but otherwise, I do not feel as if I were drugged."
John looked at Ronon who shrugged.
"What do you guys remember about last night?"
They cast glances at each other, and Ronon said, "Music, food, bed."
Teyla smiled her enigmatic little smile. "Ronon is correct. I remember the celebration and then going to bed." She frowned. "Did something happen to you?"
John shrugged casually, not meeting Teyla's eyes. "I just don't remember much from last night, and then Lotan told me the rice cakes were drugged." He heard footsteps approaching and looked up to see Rodney enter the hall, pale and pasty-looking.
Teyla was about to bite into a piece of bread and honey when Rodney slumped down next to her.
"Oh, god, please, somebody kill me now," he moaned miserably. "What the hell happened last night?"
Teyla smiled sympathetically at Rodney, and poured him a cup of the cold water. "Colonel Sheppard informed us that the rice cakes were drugged." She handed the cup to him. "Here, drink this. It will make you feel better."
Rodney looked at John with shocked eyes as he took the cup in shaking hands. "Drugged? Why? What did they do to us?"
John shook his head and did his best to act casual. "Relax, Rodney. It was all part of their celebration. Apparently they get stoned every time they throw a party."
Rodney blinked and looked incredulous. "Are you serious? What is this place, the Pegasus version of Berkley? Do you have any idea how many of my very important brain cells they probably killed with their magic rice cakes? What if they killed the brain cells that contained the solution to defeating the Wraith?"
John smiled as Rodney worked his way toward a full-blown rant, but Teyla and Ronon stood up. "If you will excuse us, Colonel," Teyla said casting a glance at Rodney who was glaring at them. "Ronon and I wish to take a walk and clear our heads from last night's festivities."
John knew it was an excuse to get away from McKay, and he felt a moment's panic at being left alone with the other man, but he nodded his head in permission. "I'll radio when we're ready to go."
Teyla smiled, and they left. After they were gone, Rodney quieted down and sat turning a piece of fruit around in his hand, his lips pressed together into a thin line. John tensed as he watched Rodney. He was pretty sure from the way Rodney had acted when he'd entered the hall that he didn't remember anything from the previous night, but it was obvious something was bothering him. John watched him out of the corner of his eye as he buttered another piece of bread. He was no longer hungry, but it gave him something to do while he waited anxiously for Rodney to say what was on his mind.
At last Rodney slid across the bench until he was sitting directly opposite John. He leaned in and said in a quite voice, "I think we may have a problem."
John's mouth went dry. He cleared his throat and asked, "What kind of a problem?"
Rodney glanced around as if to make sure no one was within earshot and then lowered his eyes to stare at the fruit he still held in his hand. "I...I think I had sex with someone last night."
John's heart was pounding so loud in his chest he thought for sure Rodney could hear it. "You think?" he asked in a voice barely above a whisper.
Rodney glanced back up and John could see that his cheeks were tinged with a faint blush. "I, um, woke up naked this morning and there was, uh, evidence that I didn't spend the night alone."
John took a deep breath. "But you don't know for sure?"
Rodney shook his head and glared at John. "Brain damage from their damned drugs, remember?" Then he sighed and looked at John worriedly. "I'm afraid this might cause some kind of inter-planetary incident. I mean, what if I'm expected to make an honest woman of her? What if her father comes after me with this planet's version of a shotgun? I have no idea who it was. Oh, god," he moaned, his blue eyes wide with distress. "What if she's ugly? Or worse, what if she's stupid? I can't marry a stupid woman, Sheppard. I just can't!"
He was verging on a panic attack, and so John leaned forward and put his hand on Rodney's arm.
"Rodney, relax," he ordered. "You don't have to worry. According to Lotan, they use the drug so they can do whatever they want without repercussion the next morning. It's their version of free love."
Rodney stared into his eyes as if seeking out the truth. "Are you sure?"
John sat back and removed his hand from Rodney's arm, missing the solid warmth as soon as it was gone. "Yeah," he said with a forced smirk. "We should trade them some Pink Floyd albums and a few lava lamps so they can get the whole sex, drugs, and rock and roll thing right."
Rodney smiled and relaxed a little bit. "Oh, thank god," he sighed, rubbing his face with his hands. A plate of hot, freshly baked bread was placed on the table beside him, and he looked up and smiled at the pretty young maidservant. She smiled back shyly and left the table. Rodney picked up a piece of the bread and started to slather butter on it, all the while watching the sway of the girl's hips as she left the dining hall to return to the kitchen.
"Do you think it was her?" he asked around a huge bite of the bread.
John, who had started scowling as soon as Rodney smiled at the girl, took a bite of his own bread and muttered, 'No."
Rodney reached for the honey pot and drizzled honey over his bread. "Why not?" he asked. "She smiled at me like she knew me, as in 'knew' me," he said, wiggling his eyebrows.
John rolled his eyes. "She smiled because she's a servant and you're a guest. Christ, McKay, I swear if you start thinking every woman in this village that smiles at you shared your bed last night, I'm going to take out my sidearm and shoot you in the leg again."
Rodney smirked at him. "And did you get lucky last night, Colonel?"
John just glowered at him. No way was he going to answer that question.
"Ha!" Rodney barked triumphantly. "I'm going to take from your look that you didn't. What do you know; we've finally come across a civilization that prefers brains over brawn. I knew it had to happen sooner or later."
John just shook his head. "Finish your breakfast, Rodney. We need to find Lotan and set up the time for the delivery of the trade goods, and then we need to get home."
"Jealous," Rodney said in a singsong before he stuffed the rest of his bread and honey into his mouth.
They finally left the house and headed for the village town hall. Rodney, much to John's irritation, checked out every woman he passed. John could practically hear the thoughts bouncing around Rodney's head: Was it her? Was it her? Oh, man, hot! Was it her?
They passed one woman who looked old enough to be their mother that John vaguely remembered talking to the previous night. She smiled a brilliant and knowing smile at them, and John felt the blood leave his face. Rodney turned to him, his own face a picture of distress. "Oh, god," he said, looking worried. "Do you think it was her? She looked like she knew something."
John slowly shook his head unable to actually form words as the panic that she might say something to Rodney that would reveal John's secret sent a chill down his spine.
"How can you be sure?" Rodney insisted. "I mean," and he lowered his voice until John could barely hear it, "to be honest, Sheppard, it's, uh, been a while for me. I'm pretty sure in my drug-induced state I wouldn't have been too picky."
And didn't that just make John feel all special.

They returned to Atlantis in late afternoon and went to the infirmary for their normal post-mission check-up. Beckett was less than pleased when he learned of the drugged rice cakes. He took the blood samples he needed from Ronon and Teyla and sent them on their way, and then began to draw blood from Rodney.
"For god's sake, Carson," Rodney said in a whining, complaining voice as the third tube began to fill. "Do you need so much blood? I'm beginning to feel light-headed."
John was sitting on one of the exam tables waiting his turn and listening with amusement as Carson and Rodney sniped back and forth. It was then that he had the first flashback.
He was on the bed straddling Rodney's thighs and slowly stroking Rodney's hard, thick cock. Rodney was thrusting his hips and making deep, breathy, encouraging noises.
John gasped and came back to himself, his own cock now hard and wanting. He closed his legs and hoped no one noticed his erection. Beckett heard his gasp and turned to him.
"Is everything all right, Colonel," he asked in concern.
"Yeah, fine, Doc," John answered a little breathlessly. "Just a little twinge from sitting so long."
Beckett smiled sympathetically. "Almost finished with the cry-baby here, Colonel."
"Hey!" Rodney said indignantly.
"So I'll be right with you," Carson concluded, slapping a bandage on the tiny needle prick in Rodney's arm.
"Make sure you check for alien STDs," Rodney said as he slid off the exam table and grabbed up his jacket.
Carson, who had been labeling the tube of blood he'd just taken from Rodney, stopped and stared at the scientist. "What?"
John clenched his teeth as Rodney said with a smirk, "Yes, well, I'm afraid the natives found me irresistible, and I indulged in a little indiscretion on the planet."
Carson looked shocked. "You, Rodney?"
Rodney scowled. "Yes, me! Why is it so surprising that someone would find me irresistible?"
Carson just looked at him.
"Oh, shut up," Rodney snapped and stormed out of the infirmary.
Carson shook his head and moved the cart holding his equipment over to where John waited. After preparing John's arm, he slid the needle into a vein and began to draw the first of several tubes of blood he would need.
"So, Colonel," he said casually as he changed tubes, "do I need to check your blood for alien STDs too?"
John swallowed and merely shook his head. "No, I'm clean."
Carson glanced at him and smiled. "Good lad." He finished drawing the blood and removed the tourniquet. After he placed a small bandage on John's arm he said, "All finished. I'll let you know if I find anything off in your blood workup."
"Thanks, Doc," John said. He slipped off the exam table and left the infirmary.
He was on his way to the debriefing when he had the second flashback.
He was lying on top of Rodney, their erections pressing into his stomach, hips rocking, pleasure, sharp and bright, firing along his nerve endings. They were kissing passionately, tongues sliding together, licking and exploring, mouths wet and greedy, teeth nipping. He pulled back and away and whispered, "Fuck me, Rodney."
John groaned, closed his eyes, and leaned against a wall as desire nearly overwhelmed him. He finally regained control, thankful that no one had been in the hallway to see his near collapse. He solemnly prayed he didn't have another episode until the debriefing was finished and he could retreat to his quarters.
Rodney must have made a detour to the canteen because he was holding a full cup of coffee in his hand when John met up with him near Weir's office. They entered the office together, and Elizabeth looked up from her computer and smiled.
"So," she said when they had taken their seats, "I take it everything went well on M7X-375?"
"Well, there was one small problem," John said.
Elizabeth looked concerned. "A problem?"
Rodney snorted and took a sip of his coffee. "M7X-375 appears to be at the dawning of the Age of Aquarius."
At Elizabeth's blank look, John said, "There was a celebration after the trade negotiations, and we were served drugged Rice Krispies Treats without our knowledge."
"What?" Elizabeth asked in a shocked voice.
"Carson's checking it out, but I don't think we need to worry about addiction or anything," John said in an attempt to allay Elizabeth's worry about their health. "Lotan assured us that they've been using the substance for generations, and no one craves it. It's just part of their culture."
Elizabeth frowned. "Still, I think I'm going to have your team stand down for a couple days at least, Colonel. Once we know for sure there aren't any lasting effects, you can go back on normal rotation."
John nodded, grateful for the time to get over the flashbacks before he was sent off-world again.
With that settled, they turned to discussing the trade agreement.
They were nearly finished with their meeting, and Rodney had just swallowed the last of his coffee and was leaning forward to set the empty cup on Elizabeth's desk when it suddenly fell from his hand. John looked at his friend and felt his blood go cold. Rodney was staring into space, his face was flushed, and he was panting slightly. John knew exactly what was happening. Rodney was having a flashback.
It only lasted a matter of seconds, but when it was over, Rodney turned to stare in horror at John.
"Rodney, are you all right?" Elizabeth asked in concern.
Rodney turned back to her, his eyes wild and his face pale. "Yes," his voice squeaked. He cleared his throat and spoke again. "Yes, fine. I...I just remembered something I forgot. I need to go."
With that, he jumped up from his seat and rushed out of the office.
"John," Elizabeth began, but John was already standing up.
"I'll see what's up," he said hurrying after the physicist. He knew exactly what was wrong, and all he could hope to do was damage control. If he could just talk to Rodney, get him to understand that it had been the drugs, and... fuck, fuck, fuck!
He caught up with Rodney in the hallway leading to his lab. "Rodney, wait," he said, taking hold of Rodney's arm. As soon as he touched him, the other man stopped, shoulders slumping.
"I'm sorry," Rodney whispered in a barely audible voice.
"What?" John said, confused.
Rodney straightened his shoulders and turned around to face John. His face was pale, and his eyes held a hurt, desperate expression that tore at John. "I'm sorry for what I did to you. I...Oh, god, I'm just so sorry."
John realized that they were outside one of the laboratories that were seldom used, and he slapped a hand against the panel, opened the door, and pulled Rodney inside, locking the door behind him. If possible, Rodney's face got even paler, and he held up his hands as if to ward off expected blows. John felt sick.
"Rodney, what do you remember?" John asked.
Rodney swallowed and backed away from John until he bumped up against a stool. He reached behind him with one hand and grabbed onto the stool as if he needed it to hold himself upright.
"I..." He licked his lips, and looked away from John. John took a step closer, but stopped when Rodney looked back at him with fear-filled eyes.
"Shit, Rodney," John said. "I'm not going to hurt you."
Rodney laughed bitterly. "You may change your mind about that in a minute."
"No, I'm really not," John said gently. He stepped forward and put his hands on Rodney's shoulders. "Tell me what you remember."
Rodney looked at him, eyes wide and worried with a hint of tears glittering in them. It took all of John's willpower to keep himself from lowering his head and kissing Rodney's fear away.
Rodney took a deep, quivering breath and said, "You know what I remember. You woke up before I did. You know it was you. Last night. I remembered, in Elizabeth's office, I remembered..." His face flushed red and then paled again. "...being with you." He shook his head, his unhappiness like a physical thing in the room. "I don't know why you're even still talking to me. I...I mean, I understand why you didn't say anything when you woke up. I'd have wanted to get as far away from me as possible, too. And maybe you don't remember anything either, but you have to feel sore. You have to have guessed what I did to you. I don't understand why you didn't - I don't know - shoot me or something. And I really don't understand why you're still talking to me."
"Rodney," John said gently, and felt him tense under his hands
"I swear I never would have done that to you if it hadn't been for the drugs," Rodney said in a desperate voice. "I know everyone thinks I'm a selfish, self-centered bastard, and I am, but I would never have...date-raped you...if I hadn't been drugged too, no matter how much I've wanted to..." His mouth shut with an audible click of teeth. He looked even more horrified than he had in Elizabeth's office, and he collapsed onto the stool as if his legs could no longer hold him up.
John's heart was pounding so hard, he felt light-headed. He moved to stand in between Rodney's thighs and raised trembling hands from Rodney's shoulders to his neck, his thumbs lightly tracing along Rodney's jaw line.
"Wanted to what, Rodney?" John asked in a slightly breathless voice.
At John's caress, the look of fear and distress in Rodney's eyes turned to confusion, and then slowly changed to dawning hope. Instead of answering John's question though, he asked, "Do you remember anything from last night?"
John licked his lips and nodded. "I remember touching you," he said softly. "And kissing; lots of kissing." Rodney swallowed and his eyes dilated until there was very little blue showing. John moved his head until his mouth was next to Rodney's right ear. "I remember begging you to fuck me."
Rodney moaned and brought his hands up to grasp John's hips. Their heads moved at the same time and lips met, hot and greedy, tongues touching and darting away, exploring, tasting, mouths separating only to join again in frantic hunger.
At last they broke apart long enough to gasp for air, and John pressed kisses across Rodney's jaw line and down his neck, sucking lightly and then licking at the warm, salty skin. Rodney moved his neck to allow John better access and asked in a breathy voice, "If it was okay with you, why didn't you say anything?"
John lifted his head and brushed his thumb across Rodney's bottom lip. "Because I didn't know it was okay with you," he said with a smile.
"Oh," Rodney said and then pulled John's mouth to his again.
This time when John lifted his mouth he captured Rodney's head between his hands, looked into the other man's eyes and said, "I want to taste you, Rodney. Is that okay?"
Rodney's fingers tightened around John's hips hard enough to bruise and he said, "Yes. Please, yes."
John kissed him again, deeply, and then he sank to his knees. Rodney watched him with eyes wide and black when John began to unfasten his pants. John lowered his zipper and then reached in and pulled Rodney's cock through the opening of his boxers. It was as hard and thick as John remembered. He pulled back the foreskin and gazed at the head flushed with blood, then leaned forward and licked.
Rodney's hips jerked, and his fingers slid into John's hair and tightened almost painfully, but John ignored it and slid his lips over the tip of Rodney's cock. He sucked lightly, and then twirled his tongue around the head before lapping up the drop of pre-come from the slit.
He wrapped his hand around the base of Rodney's cock and started to slowly stroke at the same time he took more of Rodney's cock into his mouth. Rodney was making those breathy, encouraging noises that John remembered. John smiled around Rodney's cock, and then rubbed his tongue along its length before he began to suck in earnest.
Rodney held John's head in both hands, not directing him, but holding on while John licked and sucked and stroked. And even though they had made love just the night before, it didn't take long before Rodney was tapping at John's shoulder, and saying, "Oh, god, I'm gonna..."
John took him in as deeply as he could and swallowed around his cock-head. That was all it took, and Rodney came with a sharp cry. John drank him down, and then pulled back, sucking gently at the softening cock. He rested his head on Rodney's leg, closed his eyes, and relaxed as Rodney ran his hand through John's hair in a petting motion.
After a few minutes, Rodney said, "Hey," in a sated, sleepy voice. John raised his head and smiled at him, and then stood up again on shaky legs. Taking Rodney's head in his hands again, he kissed him, slow and deep and full of all the emotion he could put into it.
When their mouths parted, Rodney said, "Your turn now."
"You sure?" John asked, not wanting to push Rodney into something he didn't want to do.
Rodney pushed him back a little and stood up, tucking himself away. When he had finished refastening his pants, he took hold of John's arms and turned them around so that John's legs bumped against the stool. He kissed John, said, "Do you have any idea how many times I've jerked-off to the fantasy of blowing you?" and sank to his knees.
Rodney's mouth was everything that John had imagined it would be: eager and greedy and very, very satisfying. His tongue conducted experiments on John's sensitive skin and found all the places that sent chills up John's spine, all the places that made him whimper and gasp, and when John came, it was with Rodney's name on his lips.
~~~
Many hours later, they lay in bed exhausted and sated. John's arm was once again wrapped around Rodney's waist, and he had never felt such contentment, such a sense of absolute rightness.
"What I don't understand," Rodney was saying as he ran one of his broad, knowledgeable hands down John's flank, "is how I never realized that you wanted me as much as I wanted you. I mean, I'm a genius, and I couldn't figure that out?"
John laughed. "Rodney, you never know when someone wants you. I had to point out to you that Allina was interested in you."
"Yes," Rodney said with a huff. "And thank you so much for that since it worked out so well."
John grinned and rolled them over, trapping Rodney beneath him. "You didn't want her anyway," he said, leaning down and licking a stripe up Rodney's neck. "Just like you really didn't want Norina."
"Hey, Norina was hot," Rodney insisted even as his hands cupped John's ass and he stretched his neck to give John better access. "And let's not forget that you were interested in her too."
John lifted his head and smirked. "I was interested in keeping you away from her."
Rodney's eyes widened, and then he grinned. "You bastard."
John grinned back, then lowered his head and resumed nibbling at Rodney's neck, content in the knowledge that he didn't need drugs to make Rodney forget about everything but him.
The End
