It sounds like you've been pretty busy. Maybe you can get a little break during the upcoming holidays, if not before.

Mike comes home from training with a big smile on his face. It's good to see him happy. I have been informed the other day that one of the project managers has scheduled me to work a project through the Thanksgiving weekend. I'm not too happy about that because last year I was the only superintendent to work the entire Christmas period. I will have to see what I can work out.

Bah @ no photographs of beautiful mountains... they're such a rarity here in Australia!!!

I have to have my wife help me upload the photos. She is usually too busy with her own journal. I will try to post some things. Most of the pictures that turned out good were of buildings and people instead of the scenery.

Congrats to your stepson on the new job. Yikes on the refrigerator going out; sounds like nothing was ruined which is good. We used to have a freezer in the basement that didn't close tightly unless you really made sure it was closed. One day it was left open by one of the neighbor kids; we didn't discover it until everything was thawed and ruined.

It was only the water supply to the refrigerator. The rest of it works fine. I keep our freezer locked so the boy doesn't eat all the ice cream. He has a tendency to eat a whole carton at a sitting.
