I wish I could but then I'd be tempted by cake, sigh. I think my letter to the pastor is pretty much 'nuff said so I cannot make an appearance.

I said you all were taught that all who are not SDA are non-Christians and to stay away from us, so I can't in all conscience be where I could compromise y'alls's faith.

my birthday means nothing, I'm old and in too much pain to eat anything fun. I make my 'healthy' candy, but it's not the same.

I want to know Christ and the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of sharing in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death,and so, somehow, to attain to the resurrection from the dead.

Not that I've attained this yet, but this one thing I do..., "I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus."
This is what I'm working on, but Philipians also says to be comsiderate and loving to everyone, it's not loving to cause someone else to stumble by association.

Now age has nothing to do with birthdays. It's a time to thank God for life and the privilege of each painful breath. It has to mean something because God made us for a reason. "Healthy candy" is an oxymoron. I understand how you feel about birthdays though. I'm just sayin'...

The last, we know you know this already. It's already DONE! Rejoice and get into BIRTHDAY MODE! Give thanks with a grateful heart! He is risen!
