I just spent the last two hours searching the university database for critical reviews of Dan Simmons' Hyperion series... and came up with nilch. :( Instead I stumbled into a multitude of critical essays on Frank Herbert, Ursula K. le Guin, Robert Heinlein... even Iain M. but never actually
heard any of their stuff...

juno reactor YES! :)
it's been awhile since
i've done the juno thing,
but was thinking about
garden de cecile yesterday,
and pulled them of the shelf
to give 'em a listen.
(had to blow off a bit of dust!)
talk about a time machine!
i was almost instantly
transported to some wacky places...
it's crazy what we have embedded
in ourselves as auditory memory ;)

lol, isn't it obvious? I'm such a May baby! A total spring bug! Somewhere on or around the 10th, almost 23 years ago, a l'il botz sprouted out of a crocus bulb. (or so the stories tell ;)
