synchronize your universeslxanderMarch 2 2005, 19:56:49 UTC
I'm sure you need not be reminded of the origins of the name Muad'dib ;) The similarities to the reasons outlined on the Mooshika page are striking. I'm almost done Messiah at this point...
I went out walking with Son Kite in my cd player for lunch... it appears that causality is speaking in curious synchronicities once again.
ok, universes synchronized. ready for launch!space_botzMarch 3 2005, 06:06:48 UTC
*smacks head* i wouldn't have thought i'd need reminding about Muad'dib either! but in my focused train of thought, the little desert mouse totally slipped my mind :P
you're just turboing through those books, eh? *le sigh* another fast reader, i'm gonna have to try and keep up with... ;) i'm not a slow reader, but with skool, work n' my love of cartoons (aeon flux aeon flux!), i'm not reading as fast as i could be... still floating my way through StarDust (for the 10000th time ;)
which son kite disc were you bopping your head to? i've been on a big son kite resurgence in the last week or so... still can't find my drum! ;)
Re: pre-pare fur blazt-off! [/hartman]lxanderMarch 3 2005, 14:03:57 UTC
Yeah I tend to read rather quickly... there's a lot of time given over to reading in my day - trip in to work, trip from work, and before bed are always 30 minute chunks for plowing through a novel. If it's particularly good and I'm bored around the house I'll take some time on the couch for a read. I do manage to sustain a book every two or three days :)
I ended up fishing out the old Dune game for the PC but to my surprise it is not a worthwhile expenditure of time... a fine game perhaps, but I really wonder at those who were reviewing it saying it was very faithful to the book - it is anything but! No depth, no rich storyline, just a lot of micro-management... bah! Another childhood dream shattered...
As for Son Kite... it was Colours that I had on, which is why I mentioned it :) I've also been playing a lot of their singles and remixes - Sunset Street, Wonderer, Revolution, Out of Range... <3
ok space cadets, get ready to hurtle thru the cosmos!space_botzMarch 3 2005, 15:05:44 UTC
out of range... that's s>range, n'est pas? *flips thru mental record catalogue* ... with noma?
ah, it's been awhile since i've looked at my records! (part of the whole lazy-bum hasn't-hooked-up-her-record player-since-moving two-septembers-ago thing ;)
lol, with that said though, I do have a whole lot of asana dreams... just not lucid! its funny... i find that once i've dreamt I could do a certain pose, it becomes much easier in waking life (i.e. bakasana)
who knows, maybe now i'll become a master of crazy back-bends? ;)
Re: dreaming the futureavadMarch 3 2005, 16:16:25 UTC

ok hmmm you prolly don't want to hear this but didn't your bro actually GO to the museum you dreamt of...and he loves Dune and is in some ways the perfect guy for you. I know I know that's not what I'm saying...But on ANOTHER level you Are amazing soulmates and made the choice to incarnate as family. DOn't worry, We'll find you a date-able earthversion as well.;)Have you ever just used 'Dune' as a keyword interest and searched lj? just a thought. remember what magnets can do...He may be on here already...spilling out his guts, waiting to meet you...;)
