all worky and no sleepy make botz a crazy crazy, yet curiously sane, crazyhead

Wacky sleep patterns, more dirtjuice than I'd like to confess to, and hours n' hours of typing up research projects... am I even coherent anymore? It's hard to tell. Bananas, antennae and upside-down cake; giraffes, bracelets and stoopid hats. Gosh! My brain is so close to bursting, my neck is sore from holdin' my head up :P Seems like I'm still ( Read more... )

:) I just made curried carrot soup the other night. If you want the recipe let me know and I'll post it. As for Trent, he always looks great.. I didn't notice his arms much but I'll have a look next time I see the video ;)

Mmm... curried carrot soup! I make a pretty mean one myself, but I'd be game to see what goes into yours. It's soOoo silly - the older I get, the more of a recipe-trading, kitchen-babbling, gardening-tip-talking lady I turn into. *blink* aHhhhh! I'm my mom! :P

do you get a spring break soon? what kind of research projects?

So anyway, it might end up being out of the way or a time when you have other committments, but, I would really enjoy having you and Rokkitz at my wedding. We are going to do it in the mountains, and there would be hella abstract-fashion, electronic music-loving, science nerds there. Let me know.

Hey, glad you liked the massage and the yummy incence. My fav...and the only one i will burn in the studio! Strangely, I haven't been sleeping much either. I'm not strung out on stress like you, but still unable to drift off in my usual easy somnolence. ZZZZzzzzZzZzZzZZZzzzZzZzz

Be Here Now lxander March 28 2005, 13:58:58 UTC
Is this the quote found in the old Deviant Electronics tune "When Then is Now" by chance?

Don't think about the past - just be here now. Don't think about the future - just be here now. You will have super consciousness and super energy and you will know just what to do...

I never did sort out where that's from, but it is one of my old favourites (and the song is beautiful as well)...

it's a phrase coined by Ram Dass
in the early 70s
to encourage us to let go,
find no attachment
to past or future self
and just be here now.
live, breathe, enjoy.

he wrote a book of that title
that is considered a classic
in both the spiritual
and psychedelic (often the same) communities;
and is heralded today
as one of the great western yogis
of our time :)
