It barely needs to be said that many things cause Usopp to scuttle away in terror like an indignant crab. Robin and Nami having a “a women’s talk” is positively petrifying, a rancid and overly lively sock of Zoro’s under his bed gets the better of him every time and quite frequently, his paralysed limbs attempt a futile flight away from an army of grinning saw-toothed overall-exploring skyfish at night.
div>But, as only Zoro truly knows, there is only one thing that really causes Usopp to PANIC. That causes his heart to pound away faster than Luffy’s Gatling Gun. That makes him sweat like a gorilla in a sauna and sends him hurtling away to any number of small, dark hiding places. Whenever Zoro approaches him, alone, kisses him and makes it clear, via a viciously lust-filled gaze, that he has no intention of stopping at that, he can see the RED ALERT!! buttons flashing away inside the sniper’s mind. And inevitably, the sniper flees. Fortunately Zoro is fully aware of the aphrodisiac-like qualities of adrenaline and knows that it will only take a few more PANIC situations before he gets what he wants.
