I'm going to Orlando tomorrow. Does anyone have any recommendations for fun things to do or places to go in or near Orlando? Any good restaurants, bars, etc.? I'd also like to go to the beach! Is Daytona Beach a good choice? Are there any lesser known nice beaches

i was in orlando one night a couple of years ago and had dinner here. pricey, but worth it.

i lived in jacksonville since birth until i moved here (give or take a year in virginia), and spent a good portion of my kiddie growing up days in daytona beach. i would say basically the entire drive down US-1 from jacksonville to daytona is something to see. plenty of tiny little cheap motels and quiet beach space and mom and pop seafood restaurants. man, sometimes i really miss florida.

I'd recommend a sterile shopping center bar, full of mini beers and thousands of TV's, playing highlights of your favorite sports team.

Ha! You know what's funny? I was looking at popular Orlando restaurants and one of the top ones that popped up was that very place!! What was it, BJ's Brewery or something like that? So funny.
