when I saw the Y-fronts and unicycle mentions I was already done and having seen Filth I can only imagine what McAvoy is capable of when he plays a mentally ill person. I love crazy plays (my favorite Polish theater writers have always been Gombrowicz and Witkacy whose plays are total madness) and I am looking forward like WHOA to this now even though I usually experience this horrible second-hand embarrassment in the theater (because of the emotions, exposure, acting etc.).
THANK YOU SO MUCH for this awesome review! (not biased at all ;))))

I wish I could go there a second time tbh...
I don't see how you could feel second-hand embrassment about this play (except perhaps for the doctor, he plays mental illness too at one point, but his interpretation suffers from the comparison with James's - nothing dramatic though)

I am so so so unbelievably jealous, you have no idea.
I am glad you enjoyed it though, it sounds brilliant.
Now I shall go back to be jealous in the corner.

Being a fangirl is living in constant frustration and jealousy ;). God, there's someone who's paid to paint "God is love" on James's bare chest every night, can you imagine ? XD
