My parents got me a new (used) bike as an early birthday present. My lil' sis' has scarlet fever, i'm not sure exactly what it is but i hope she'll be okay.

I have empathy for your sister, I too once had scarlet fever. It's extremely rare and extremely unpleasant. Have a wonderful time riding your new bike! Save some energy to have some more amazing bike rides when I get back from my trip. Take care josh!
