it is what has been coined by the band itself 'gypsy punk'. I have heard that they put on one of the best shows ever. If this is any tribute, they have been banned from ever playing CBGB's again. I learned about them two years ago from an interview with the lead singer, Eugene Hutz. It was in While You Were Sleeping, which used to be a great magazine, but quickly fell downhill. The interviewer showed up to this guys apartment, and he was already drunk and naked. I fell in love with a band I had never even heard after this interview. As it turns out, I like thier music too. I wouldn't say that the music is all that accessible to most people, but it is gypsy as fuck, and any of the photos I have seen of live shows seem to indicate that it will be nothing if not lively.
