Feminist Parenting

I am posting this essay that I wrote for my writing class here and, once I am excepted back as a member, in two feminist communities.  I was once a member of both community, but left them because my issues as a feminist parent were continually devalued. I conltinue to watch these communites as people continue to have these dicussions within them

parenting is amazing and complicated. it helps to have others around to assure you that your not insane or, in some cases, that you are being insane.

Arolia, i look up to you so much.
You are such an important piece of my life . I just now got around to reading this and it made me think of my horrific birth experience and i am so happy that you were there to witness and help me through it. If i ever decide to have another child it will be far away from any hospital or asshole doctor. I think Dr. Wheeler takes the cake. Fucking Pocahontas. Thanks for every word of wisdom you have ever given me. I know you sometimes think I don't listen but i do. I love you.
