Mmmm, probably something with a lot of tomatoes & cheese. I also love the falafel wrap (I guess that counts as a sandwich) from Ali Baba's (downtown and beside the Variety Playhouse). It's by far the best falafel I've ever had.

It is so cute and adorable that you go on antiquing trips! My parents do that and I hope I find a worthy antiquing partner someday!

My parents love tomato sandwiches. Just tomatoes and mayonnaise. I always thought that was such a strange sandwich. I have not had the falafel from Ali Baba's but I will certainly add it to the list of places to visit. I havent had a good falafel sandwich in quite some time.

Oh yeah, 'mater sammiches! I grew up on those because my parents and grandparents always grew their own vegetables. And my first "job" was running a little produce stand, the way normal kids would have a lemonade stand. Pretty redneck, I guess. :)

God, I need to really THINK about this!! My favorite food is sandwiches, after all.

I think it would be a combo of:

a croissant from this French restaurant I went to in LA years ago
an entire Trio sandwich from Jaqbo
an entire Cuban sandwich from this place in Tampa that Mike took me to

and that's all I got so far! I'll get back to you!
