Did you know that this week I wrote 3k words of a fanfic in second person narrative? And that I posted it and thought absolutely nothing of it

I did that, after reading the famous work of literary prose "Bright Lights, Big City."

I'd say something witty and superior here, but I really only read it 'cause Kiefer was in the movie. *eyeshift*

I didn't write in the second person narrative until I wrote for the Yu-Gi-Oh! fandom and - surprise! - apparently I can do it and do it well. I had been inspired by a 2nd person Yu-Gi-Oh! fanfic once and realized it can be done and decided to try my hand at the style. It's easier to write than it seems, I've found. :)
