Today spittingblack and I were watching a documentary about the 2002 military coup in Venzuela. The footage we watched was taken inside the palace just as and after Chavez's cabinet reclaimed it. It's sad how many people don't want to believe these things. When confronted by the facts, they maintain they were invented by the commie pinko hippies.

noam chomsky writes all about US involvement in military coups, our sponsorship and development of all out guerilla warfare, etc, etc...

more people should know this sort of stuff. it makes complete sense and is really important historical info to be aware of when you think about nearly anything.

what was the title of the documentary?

I am not sure we sort started watching it in the middle of it. It was on one of the public access channels.
