I've heard a few comments here and there that this year's Coachella lineup isn't as good as years past. Many are saying the headliners don't have the awesome star-power of previous events

They seemed to learn their lesson and put Kraftwerk on the outdoor stage last year. Unforuntately Kraftwerk put on the exact same show they did in '04, and thus didn't really live up to the honor.
I didn't think '04 was so poorly planned so much as it was that the popularity of Kraftwerk was underestimated. Last year the same thing happened with M.I.A. and I spent most of her show perched precariously on the side of the tent frame, having climbed about half-way up since the tent was overflowing with people.
For an event that draws so many people to a city in the middle of nowhere and to a venue that's transformed for just the weekend, I've generally regarded Coachella as a very well organized event.
Friday: (primary) Leonard Cohen, Franz Ferdinand, and Morrisey. (secondary) Silversun Pickups Saturday: (primary) Thievery Corporation and Calexico. (secondary) Henry Rollins and Bob Mould. Sunday: Throbbing Grissle (though I have to wonder who they managed to get from the original line up)
Holy Crap I can't believe that totally over looked Throbbing Gristle. Is Genesis actually going to be there? I have tried to see Public Enemy like three times and for some weird reason it just didn't happen. Oh it's going to happen this time. I am really interested in hearing the Mexican Institute of Sound. It will be cool to see Henry Rollins again. I am happy to see a lot of the other acts like Crystal Method, Morrissey, and Leonard Cohen. I am really excited to just see acts I have no clue who they are. Never know what you are going to run into and you can always leave. :)

Night 1: Morrisey, Crystal Method, The Hold Steady, Felix da Housecat
Night 2: The Killers, Amy Winehouse (for the same reasons), Theivery Corp., Mastodon, Henry Rollins...
Night 3: X, Public Enemy, Groove Armada, Perry Ferral, Shepard Fairey (just to see what he's going - I only know him as the Obey and Obama guy)
