This morning I woke up at Carlos's place, got ready for work, went out the parking lot, and discovered my car was missing.

Missing? I'm about to leave for work. I have 30 minutes to get there... It's missing!

They say it's because the want license plates to be visible, but it seems to me they're in cahoots w/ the tow service to make lots of $$.

When I worked for PD I learned to look specifically for cars backed into spaces for possible stolen vehicles. Seems like that's what folks do. Of the handful of stolen cars I got, I'd say 75% were backed into spots in apartment complexes.

i LOVE Norm McDonald. We saw him back in the 90's when we lived in L.A. I didn't realize he was still touring. I'm glad you are going to see him!

Even though it's in the lease, it would be nice if they would post signs, just common courtesy. It does make it seem a bit cruel.
