Alarming behavior

Over the past few months something has been happening that is somewhat annoying and somewhat humorous - something about my person or what I carry in my bag seems to set off the theft alarms at the entrances some stores

If you carry CD cases in your bag, there could be a tag hidden beneath the CD tray. There might be a hidden tag if you have a fancy shmancy bag/purse. I once found a security tag stashed in a pair of Dickies pants I bought... Who steals $20 pants?

No fancy/schmancy purse here. I think it was $12 & it's almost 2 yrs old. No CDs either. I'm baffled.
